BRACE5 ORTHODONTICS
With 27 years’ experience treating thousands of patients in the Hills district of Sydney, John has built an enviable reputation for delivering the highest quality service in the field of orthodontics.
So how does an orthodontist differ from a dentist?
You hopefully have a great dentist who does a good job of looking after the ongoing health of your teeth, but when your dental needs move beyond everyday maintenance, you need the services of an orthodontist. Orthodontists undergo years of additional education that enables them to treat dental and jaw discrepancies.
With 35 years’ experience treating thousands of patients in the Hills district of Sydney, Dr John Mamutil has built an enviable reputation for delivering the high quality service in the field of orthodontics. John holds both a BDS degree, and an MDS degree in Orthodontics from the University of Sydney and is also a leading Invisalign Specialist in the Hills area.
John received a Lifetime Achievement award at the Hobart Invisalign Conference in 2017 and then again in 2019. An Invisalign-accredited lecturer, he also developed digital photography techniques for the Invisalign System, one of many innovative topics on which he has both presented and published articles. As a recognised pioneer of treating the teeth straightening needs of young people, Dr Mamutil was honoured to be appointed to an advisory role with Invisalign in 2018, and to be named in the highly coveted Invisalign Global Top 300.
It is this unique combination of experience, technology and friendly, personal service that has made Brace5 the first choice in orthodontics for thousands of patients and their families. We look forward to you making it yours.
John’s wealth of experience is complimented by his passion for helping people smile with confidence, and for using the latest technology to help them do so. By continually adopting cutting edge techniques, he has been able to consistently deliver the most effective and painless treatment available anywhere in the world.
This is evidenced by Brace5’s dedication to Non-Extraction Treatment, and Early and Functional Treatment, practices designed to eliminate or reduce the need to undergo the traumatic experience of invasive surgery and tooth extraction. This ethos is exemplified by John’s expertise in delivering Invisalign treatment, a practically invisible process that avoids the self-consciousness associated with traditional teeth straightening techniques.
Demonstrating its true commitment to delivering the best possible services to patients, Brace5 was the first practice in Australia to use the itero 3D scanner, an advanced piece of equipment used to quickly and comfortably generate highly accurate 3D mouth imaging, effectively replacing the need to take uncomfortable physical molds.
